Record Setting Saturday

Saturday night was a night of record breaking in Fayetteville as the Razorbacks beat the Troy Trojans in dominating fashion 56-20. Ryan Mallett broke Arkansas' single-season passing record throwing for 405 yards, bringing his season total to 2,882. Mallett surpassed Clint Stoerner's mark of 2,629 before halftime. Mallett threw five TDs to five different receivers.

This was Arkansas's third straight win bringing their record to 6-4 and making them bowl eligible. Arkansas's final two regular season games are Mississippi State in Little Rock next weekend and at LSU the Saturday after Thanksgiving. If the hogs can win both of those, it is likely that the hogs will head back to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl, which is being played at the Cowboys new stadium where Arkansas demolished Texas A&M earlier this year.

The hogs played without Defensive Coordinator Willie Robinson, who was hospitalized Friday afternoon after falling ill. He was treated and released on Saturday.
