The Razorbacks came up short in a Saturday night shootout that lasted almost 4 hours. The ball was full of helium as both QBs threw for 5 touchdowns. The clock ticked very slowly and both defenses looked soft.

The Razorback defense was absolutely terrible. Especially in the defensive backfield where safeties were consistently out of position and cornerbacks were unable to keep up with wide receivers.

If Willy Robinson does not turn his group around or begin to make wholesale substitutions (think Winston, Crim, Leon, Gordon) in the next few games, he will be looking for a new job soon. In addition, Petrino will obviously need to focus on bringing in defensive players in the 2010 class.

On a positive note, the Razorbacks offense is very, very good and should be able to look impressive throughout the season even against the best defenses. The running game needs a little improvement, but the passing game is top notch.

The hogs are now 1-1, 0-1 in the SEC. This weekend they will travel to Alabama to take on the Crimson Tide. They will play 10 straight games for the remainder of the season with no bye weeks.
